The General Assembly of the Federation of Asian Muaythai Associations elected His Excellency Abdullah Saeed Al Neyadi, President of FAMA at Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center on June 01,2022.
The Asian consensus came as a result of the great efforts made by the UAE, represented by the Game Federation, since the formation of its board of directors in May 2017, which brought about a qualitative shift in the field of the game in the region and the world, as evidenced by the distinguished participation in the current Muaythai World Championship, which is hosted by the capital of combat sports Abu Dhabi. Al Neyadi valued the efforts of the previous federation’s board of directors, stressing the continuation of the same approach, which contributes to the boom of the game at the level of the region and the world, stressing that what has been achieved during the last period calls for pride in the efforts made by all Asian federations, which contribute to supporting the game’s march.
For his part, Stephen Fox, Secretary-General of the International Muaythai Federation, praised the capabilities of the UAE Federation, headed by Abdullah Saeed Al Neyadi, who made a qualitative leap in the field of the game at the level of the region and the Middle East, despite its recent publicity at the level of membership of the International Federation, which follows with interest that brilliant sports movement. Through the various international tournaments and courses that he organized with high efficiency and proved his ability and good efficiency, benefiting from his qualified national cadres who provided the model in management and organization, and he congratulated Al Neyadi for winning the uncontested presidency of the Asian Muaythai Federation.
