Youth Muay Thai World Championship
Abu Dhabi will host the Youth Muay Thai World Championship for the first time in the Middle East from September 10–19, 2025, at Space 42 Arena. This milestone further reinforces the UAE and its capital’s leadership in staging elite international sporting events.
The championship is organized by the UAE Muay Thai and Kickboxing Federation in collaboration with the International Federation of Muay Thai Associations (IFMA). The event will welcome national teams from 100 countries and more than 1,200 male and female athletes across various age groups. It comes as part of the Federation’s strategy to grow the sport and secure regional and international success for Muay Thai.
Hosting the championship in Abu Dhabi reflects the UAE’s strong partnerships with international sports federations, its distinguished global reputation, and the proven organizational excellence of the UAE Muay Thai and Kickboxing Federation, which has previously staged highly acclaimed world and Asian championships.
About the UAE Muay Thai and Kickboxing Federation
Founded in May 2017, the UAE Muay Thai and Kickboxing Federation is the official governing body for Muay Thai and Kickboxing in the UAE. The Federation plays a leading role in strengthening the foundations of these sports, raising awareness and knowledge within the community, and showcasing the UAE on regional and global podiums. Its mission also includes expanding the base of Muay Thai and Kickboxing in the country and developing teams capable of competing in world-class competitions for both professionals and amateurs.
